Obama's Speech on Afghanistan and Kids


     In all the sensible, well reasoned, apparently prudent words of the President's speech, every time it panned to the audience, all I could think over and over was, "Dear God. They're just kids."

    They are just kids. Kids we send into harms way. We must never forget that many of these young men and women will not return home after deployment. God help us.
